Statistically Speaking: 5 Maps Where Players Live Longest

The average life-time of a player is longer on these maps than any others!

Fiery Salient

Finally, clocking in with the longest average player life-time out of all maps in World of Tanks is Fiery Salient with an impressive 5 minutes and 43 seconds. Formally known as Prokhorovka, Fiery Salient is the high-definition version of the iconic hilly map.

With two lines that dominate the map, the combat on Fiery Salient tends to group perfectly in the middle where the terrain is pinched into a rise. These lines act as a motorway for tanks to reach an ideal location.

Fiery Salient, with its north-to-south road dense with trees and its train line teetering on a bluff, offers the highest average player life-time in World of Tanks.

Interestingly, the south-east corner of the map – significantly closer to the southern base – is dominated by a lot of movement. Though these huge clusters are where the majority of play ends up, Fiery Salient still boasts the longest life-time average for players out of all maps in World of Tanks.

Surviving an entire battle in World of Tanks isn’t just ideal due to repair costs, it also helps lift your average life-time. These maps, though they might not be the greatest, do offer one thing that others do not: they are the maps where players tend to live the longest. How do you tend to perform on these maps, does your own life-time average come close to that of the community at large, or do you manage to fall on one side of the curve?
