First-Person Servers Coming To PUBG

It's time to go hardcore.

PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds has taken the world by storm since its release several months ago, with the developers constantly updating the game with new features and updates. Today, the developers of PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds, Bluehole, have announced that first-person servers will be coming to the game in the next monthly update.

Generally, people prefer to play the game in third-person, as it gives a significant advantage over the first-person perspective by allowing players to have a better view of their surroundings. Some people however, like to set themselves more of a challenge and play only in first person, giving them a huge disadvantage compared to everyone else.

Currently first-person servers do exist, but only in the PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds partner menu, meaning these servers have been created by community members. Many of the current first-person servers are usually locked and require a password too, meaning those that really enjoy first-person can't necessarily play the game how they want. Bluehole have noticed the outcry from fans regarding a first-person mode and have even acknowledged their popularity with their PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds partners. This has all eventually led to today's announcement, by Bluehole confirming that first-person servers are coming to the game in the next monthly update.

The first-person mode is yet more proof that Bluehole is determined in making their game the best it can possibly be. PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds has sold well over 3 million copies in its first 3 months, which are astonishing figures for a game that’s in Early Access. With the games constant updates and new features, PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds is set on a path of being a truly phenomenal game.
