7 Ways to Get Better at World of Tanks

Becoming better at World of Tanks is as simple as focusing on a few key areas.

Keep Calm

Finally, the best piece of advice we could give anyone, in life, in love, in World of Tanks, is to keep calm. Losing your cool in a video game is the quickest way to go on tilt and lose control. When you’re angry, you’re not thinking clearly and you can very quickly make poor decisions.

Keep calm during a match. Losing your temper will quickly lead to defeat.

Teammates can be annoying, and they can sometimes do “wrong” things, whether its movement, shooting, or going AFK. Instead of wasting your own time yelling at them, work with the other 12-odd people on your team to ensure that the deadweight doesn’t weigh you down.

Another good idea is to not come into a new game with a bad attitude. Writing “We’ve lost” at the very start of the game before the countdown has even finished makes you the bad guy. If you do this, you need to take a moment to calm down, refocus, and work with what you’re given.

Sometimes you get put in a team with players who aren’t very good. But at the end of the day, you win some matches, and you lose some. It’s a game to be enjoyed. If you’re really struggling to keep calm, trying playing a match using one of the most fun tanks in World of Tanks. It’ll get you back into the right headspace so you can go back out and kick ass.

Getting better at World of Tanks is everyone’s goal. Whether you’re a new tanker or a veteran tanker, there are always things you can do to improve. Even those competing in tournaments look for ways to improve.
