Russian 1895
A good sniper rifle will not only be effective at long range, but should have a decent rate of fire so that players can finish off their targets in a timely fashion. The Russian 1895 fulfills these requirements for the scout class in Battlefield 1.
The Russian 1895 Sniper deals a whopping 100 damage per shot while having a better rate of fire than the Gewehr 98, which comes in handy when you happen to miss a shot and need to reload. The Russian 1895 is also the default weapon for the Cavalry class, which is essentially a better version of this weapon. If you enjoy horseback combat in Battlefield 1 and plan to ride in as the cavalry when given the opportunity, it's best to acquaint yourself with the Russian 1895 beforehand to get a feel for how it handles.
Pair this sniper rifle with the Mars Automatic pistol as a sidearm for gunning down opponents at close range. There are a lot of good sniper rifles to choose from in Battlefield 1, but we feel the Russian 1895 Sniper is one of the better gun choices for the scout class.
