Highest Alpha Damage Mediums - Tier 8
At Tier 8, you’ll be facing a bevy of Premium tanks as people attempt to farm credits as well as some Tier 10 vehicles, so it’s important to use some Medium tanks with high alpha values to stay competitive. Any of these Medium vehicles offer extremely competitive alpha damage, in fact, at Tier 8 is where you’ll experience the kind of damage you can expect for the rest of the tiers.
M4A1 Revalorisé
While it might not be one of the best Premium tanks in World of Tanks, the M4A1 Revalorisé boasts the highest alpha and penetration values out of all Tier 8 Medium tanks in World of Tanks. This Sherman-style tank grants the pilot 390 alpha damage and 200 mm of penetration – and as you know, penetration values are one of the most important stats when figuring out what makes a Premium tank good at farming credits.
T-34-2
The Chinese nation pays this list a visit with the T-34-2, a Medium tank with a large selection of guns. However, out of this array of weaponry, the 122 mm 37-122JT grants 390 points of damage and 175 mm of penetration. Raw power isn’t the only advantage this tank offers, as it has a low profile and good camouflage values, making it a worthy candidate for an active scout – despite this being a primarily Light tank role.
T-34-3
Sticking with the Chinese tech tree is the T-34-3, a step up from the previous vehicle while offering the same alpha damage and penetration values of 390/175mm. What makes this a step up is its ability to earn credits as a Premium vehicle. While the T-34-3 will eventually be outclassed by the T-34-2, at a stock level the 3 can offer better values and the ability to farm credits.
