PS5 Games We Could See in 2018

Looks like 2018 could be the biggest year in gaming history.

Elder Scrolls VI

Part of me wants to believe that Todd Howard will take the stage during Bethesda’s E3 2017 press conference and announce that Elder Scrolls VI is coming in Q4 of 2017. That’s how it played out for Fallout 4 in 2015. The game went from rumor to release date in about 30 minutes. Unfortunately, historical math isn’t on our side, but maybe that’s a good thing.

During the Bethesda E3 2015 press conference, Howard mentioned that they began working on Fallout 4 right after Fallout 3. Fallout 3 came out in Q4 2008, and Fallout 4 came out in Q4 2015. That’s a seven-year (with a Skyrim release between them) development cycle for Fallout 4. Now, Skyrim came out in Q4 2011, and seven years after that (if things remain consistent), puts the release of Elder Scrolls VI in Q4 2018, which also happens to be the second half of 2018, when Damian Thong predicted the release date of the PS5.
