5 Things Call of Duty Does Better Than Battlefield

As great as Battlefield is, there are some areas in which it can be lacking.

Multiplayer Mode Variety

First, I want to be clear that I think both Call of Duty and Battlefield do a decent job at offering a wide range of different multiplayer modes at any one time. However, whereas Battlefield sticks mainly to staples like Team Deathmatch, Conquest, and Domination, Call of Duty’s developers clearly aren’t averse to thinking outside the box.

This is reflected in the memorable modes they’ve provided players with including Cranked (keep scoring kills or you blow up), Uplink (basically a futuristic combination of capture the flag and basketball), and Safeguard (attack/defend a robot as it makes its way around the map).

I’m not saying there’s anything wrong with Battlefield’s lineup (I enjoy a good game of Rush or Conquest as much as the next guy), but if it’s creativity you’re looking for, look no further than the Call of Duty series.
