Hideo Kojima is beloved by many for his creation of the Metal Gear series of stealth games, which garnered him a dedicated following of loyal supporters. Fans rejoiced when Kojima announced that his studio, Kojima Productions, would be re-established as an indie game studio in a partnership with Sony Computer Entertainment following his kerfuffle with Konami.
As such, Kojima and his crew will be creating Death Stranding exclusively for the PlayStation 4, which already has fans buzzing with excitement. Kojima is a household name for many, and it behooves PlayStation and Sony to be in good standing with such a prolific figure in the games industry. Having exclusive Kojima games released on the PS4 instantly sets the bar much higher for the Xbox One.
