7 Reasons PS4 Kicks Xbox One's Ass

It’s clear which console is superior these days.

Better Internal Specs

When both the PS4 and Xbox One were on the horizon, console players found themselves using terms like “teraflop” a lot more often. With its 1.84 teraflop GPU, the PS4 slightly edges out the Xbox One’s 1.34 teraflops, making for better graphical rendering on Sony’s console. The PS4 also has faster bandwidth due to its 8GB GDDR5 memory, giving it an advantage over the Xbox One’s slower 8GB DDR3 version.

Most gamers who own both consoles can attest to the fact that games on the PS4 tend to run more smoothly as well. Many games that run in native 1080p 60fps on PS4 will only run at a meager 900p native resolution on the Xbox One. 4K resolution tends to muddle the issue a bit, as many consumers are still getting used to the idea of upgrading to 4K-capable entertainment setups. But for now, if we just consider what we’ve been given with the standard PS4 and Xbox One in terms of tech, the PS4 is the clear winner.
