Good Indie Game Support
Exclusives aren’t the only good games offered on PlayStation 4. The PS4 has proven to be the more indie-friendly platform over the years, offering top notch indie games like The Witness, Abzu, and No Man’s Sky. For many of these indie titles, the PS4 is the only way to play them on console.
Xbox One has some indie games as well, allowing some developers to self-publish their games through ID@Xbox, but this hasn’t really been enough to earn them any sort of title as champions of the indie games scene. Many indie developers, such as The Witness creator Jonathan Blow, have chosen to side with PS4 due to its technical capabilities, which we will get to next.
