Top 5 Battlefield Maps of All-Time

These maps have become an iconic part of the Battlefield series.

St. Quentin Scar – Battlefield 1

Battlefield 1 is still relatively new compared to other Battlefield games, so it’s hard to argue that any of its maps could be considered the best in Battlefield history (especially since the game has more maps on the way). Nevertheless, one map that has already become a bit of a favorite among the Battlefield 1 player community is the St. Quentin Scar map. This map is based off the infamous Battle of St. Quentin that was fought on the northern slopes of France during WWI.

Its historic implications are already enough to make St. Quentin Scar stand out, but from a gameplay perspective, it proves to be equally unforgettable. Players who prefer long sightlines and vehicle combat will find plenty in the rolling hills and fields that make up the map’s outskirts.

Additionally, the more urban locales dotted around the map’s center allow for some pretty fierce close-quarters engagements, especially once the buildings start getting demolished from explosives and/or vehicle fire. Finally, factor in the map’s support for aerial combat (not to mention its iconic Airship L30 Behemoth vehicle), and you get a pretty clear picture why St. Quentin Scar is already one of the most popular Battlefield 1 maps, and will likely remain so even after all of its DLC expansions are released.
