(Unconfirmed) God of War
Neither Sony nor developer Santa Monica Studios have directly confirmed that the upcoming PS4-exclusive God of War game will launch in 2017. However, rumors suggest that Sony is setting the title for a holiday 2017 release and that a formal release date will be announced during this year’s E3.
The game, which serves as a sort of soft reboot for the franchise as protagonist Kratos transitions from Greek mythology to Norse mythology, already looked pretty good during last year’s reveal demo. As of last December, Santa Monica Studios confirmed that production on the title was pretty much finished. With all this in mind, it seems safe to say that we’ll be playing through Kratos’s latest adventure before they year is out.
