Ubisoft has announced the first story expansion for Ghost Recon Wildlands, titled Narco Road, will be launching on April 18th for all platforms.
According to a press release from Ubisoft, Narco Road will arrive on April 18th for Season Pass owners and April 25th for everyone else (at a $14.99 price point). Those who own the Narco Road expansion will gain access to the following new features:
- A new story campaign which includes over 15 new missions and tasks players with infiltrating three different Bolivian gangs in order to take down a mysterious new threat named El Invisible.
- Four new types of side missions which help players earn followers and increase their reputation among the three different gangs.
- Four exclusive character outfits.
- Nine new weapons.
- Four new vehicle types including monster trucks, muscle cars, and aerobatic planes.
A free game update which goes live tomorrow, April 12th, will also add in new weekly live season challenges that involve completing single-player, co-op, and community-based goals. There will be three different challenges offered each week and challenges refresh every Wednesday.
Completing challenges grants unique rewards and challenges will also be divided up into six-week seasons that each have a central theme, the first of which is titled The Rise and Fall of Unidad.
