Ghost Recon Wildlands Narco Road Expansion Goes Live On April 18th

Weekly live season challenges are also coming on April 12th.

Ubisoft has announced the first story expansion for Ghost Recon Wildlands, titled Narco Road, will be launching on April 18th for all platforms.

According to a press release from Ubisoft, Narco Road will arrive on April 18th for Season Pass owners and April 25th for everyone else (at a $14.99 price point). Those who own the Narco Road expansion will gain access to the following new features:

  • A new story campaign which includes over 15 new missions and tasks players with infiltrating three different Bolivian gangs in order to take down a mysterious new threat named El Invisible.
  • Four new types of side missions which help players earn followers and increase their reputation among the three different gangs.
  • Four exclusive character outfits.
  • Nine new weapons.
  • Four new vehicle types including monster trucks, muscle cars, and aerobatic planes.

A free game update which goes live tomorrow, April 12th, will also add in new weekly live season challenges that involve completing single-player, co-op, and community-based goals. There will be three different challenges offered each week and challenges refresh every Wednesday.

Completing challenges grants unique rewards and challenges will also be divided up into six-week seasons that each have a central theme, the first of which is titled The Rise and Fall of Unidad.
