Mass Effect: Andromeda - How to Romance Vetra Nyx

Learn how to romance Vetra Nyx, Mass Effect: Andromeda’s Turian squadmate.

Vetra Nyx is a female Turian who can be romanced in Mass Effect: Andromeda by either male or female Ryder. Romancing Vetra is one way to unlock all Achievements and Trophies in the game.

Keep in mind that if you enter a committed relationship with Vetra, you will not be able to pursue a relationship with any of the other romance options in Mass Effect: Andromeda.

How to Romance Vetra Nyx

For Vetra to become available as a romance option, you must first unlock Vetra Nyx as a squadmate. Once Vetra is a part of your crew on board the Tempest, you must speak with her multiple times and complete her Loyalty Mission in order to complete the romance quest.

Step 1: Talk in the Armory

To romance Vetra, you will need to speak with her after every major mission and some side quests. Be sure to flirt with her at every opportunity.

The first step in romancing Vetra in Mass Effect: Andromeda is to speak with her in the Armory of the Tempest when she first joins your squad. You will need to select the option, “You’re intense. I like it.”

Step 2: Talk in the Tempest

You will be given multiple opportunities to flirt with Vetra, but it's important not to miss reading your emails as you must read all correspondence between you and Vetra in order to romance her.

After talking with Vetra the first time, you must talk with her again while on board the Tempest. You are looking for a specific piece of dialogue that says: Anyone special in your life? Using this piece of dialogue will progress the romance further.

Step 3: Talk in the Armory

You must complete the mission, A Trial of Hope in order to progress to this next step. Speak with Vetra in the Armory and select the dialogue option: You’re too tough for that.

Step 4: Aya Talk

When you reach Aya, after completing the mission, A Trial of Hope, you must talk with Vetra again to progress her path as a romance option in Mass Effect: Andromeda.

Step 5: Loyalty Mission Start

To begin Vetra’s Loyalty Mission, a necessary part of romancing her, you will need to interrogate Vehn during the mission, Hunting the Archon. When you return to the Tempest, speak with Vetra in the hallway to begin the Loyalty Mission.

Step 6:  Loyalty Mission Finish

After finishing the Loyalty Mission, find Vetra in the Armory and chose the dialogue option: I’m here for you both. Doing this will complete Vetra’s Loyalty Mission and get you one step closer to romancing her in Mass Effect: Andromeda.

Step 7: Talk in the Armory

For this next section of the Vetra romancing to start, you must have completed her Loyalty Mission as well as completed the mission, Hunting the Archon. When you speak with her in the Armory, select the dialogue option: I’m dreaming of someone.

Step 8: Kissing Vetra

To romance Vetra further, you must be up to Kadara, had read the R5 email, and have Vetra in your squad. Speak with her while at Kadara and look out for the Dialogue Action. Hitting this trigger will cause you to kiss Vetra, whereupon you can commit to a relationship.

Step 9: Another Dialogue Action

After completing the mission, The Journey to Meridian, speak with Vetra while on the Tempest to activate another Dialogue Action.

Step 10:  Romancing Vetra

This is the final step in romancing Vetra in Mass Effect: Andromeda and requires you to have completed all previous steps. Find Vetra in the Armory on the Tempest and speak with her again to conclude her romance arc.

Completing all of the above steps will finish the romancing of Vetra. While Vetra is good for romancing, she’s also an excellent choice when you begin looking for the Architects. If you read this guide, you should now know how to romance Vetra Nyx in Mass Effect: Andromeda.
