Mass Effect: Andromeda - All Architect Locations

Every Architect in Mass Effect: Andromeda and where to find them.

This guide will show you the location of each Architect fights in Mass Effect: Andromeda. The Architect fights in Mass Effect: Andromeda offer a new experience for players who wants a bit of a challenge. You will need to come fully prepared, as the Architects do not play around and neither do their minions.

These Architect fights take place over four different worlds, and although the Architect fights are fairly similar, the environment and Remnant waves in between vary, making each encounter a unique challenge. You will need to know how to kill Architects in Mass Effect: Andromeda in order to complete these quests.

Remember to direct your Remnant IV to attack the Architect in order to be eligible for the Friendly Fire Achievement and Trophy.

Eos

When finding the Architect locations in Mass Effect: Andromeda, but sure to take into consideration the planets weather and the protection around the battlefield.
When finding the Architect locations in Mass Effect: Andromeda, but sure to take into consideration the planets weather and the protection around the battlefield.

The first Architect battle you’ll come across in Mass Effect: Andromeda is located on Eos. Accessing this Architect requires completing the Priority Ops mission, “A Trail of Hope.” You will then have access to the “Making an Impression” mission.

The Eos Architect battle takes place in the bottom left area of the map between the two large plateaus. The Remnant waves consist of Breachers and Nullifiers.

Voeld

Another Architect fight in Mass Effect Andromeda is located on Voeld. You must first establish an outpost, then speak to Priya Blake who will give you the mission, “Missing Science Crew.”

The Architect battle takes place on the right-hand side of the map near a ravine. During the Remnant waves, you will face Breachers and Observers.

Be careful on Voeld, as this snowy planet has an extremely harsh environment. The Level 2 cold hazard rating will require constant trips to your Nomad in order to move between the buildings that act as cover and places of warmth. Look out for heat lamps, as these will keep your life-support warmed.

Kadara

Mass Effect: Andromeda’s third Architect battle can be found on Kadara. You will need to establish an outpost on Kadara before the Architect battle is available. To do this, progress through the main story until you’ve completed the section involving the Collective and the Outcasts.

Once the Outpost is established, speak with Christmas Tate to receive the Old Skinner mission. The Architect battle occurs in the top-left area of the map, at the bottom of a valley. The Remnant waves consist of Breachers and Nullifiers.

Unfortunately, Kadara’s Architect fight takes place in an area prone to acid geysers, while also offering limited cover. It can be a good idea to use Tactical Cloak as it will remove any lock-on attacks the Architect might throw at you.

Elaaden

The final Architect battle in Mass Effect: Andromeda is located on Elaaden. The Architect fight can only trigger once you give the drive core to Morda during the mission, “Search for the Stolen Remnant Drive Core.” After this mission, you will be able to establish an outpost on Elaaden.

You will find the Architect battle in the center of the map. The Remnant waves consist of Breachers and Assemblers, which pose the greatest threat compared to the other Architect fights. Be sure to use the debris around the battlefield as cover.

The Architect fights are a challenging addition to Mass Effect, and are worth pursuing if you want to unlock all of the game's achievements. Though they can be difficult, especially on Insanity, by using your teammates and the cover, you should be able to defeat all four Architects. By reading this guide, you should now know where to find all Architects in Mass Effect: Andromeda.
