COD Nazi Zombies - How to unlock the Pack-a-Punch

Upgrade your weapons by unlocking the Pack-a-Punch in Call of Duty: WW2 Nazi Zombies.

It’s that time of year again, where we dive into the latest Call of Duty and build up our defences against the horde of the undead. With Call of Duty: WW2, the beloved Nazi Zombies make their triumphant return, and with them come more mysteries to solve and secrets to unlock. The most important part of any Nazi Zombie game is knowing how to unlock the Pack-a-Punch machine, as you won’t be surviving to the later waves without it!

How to unlock the Pack-a-Punch

For the sake of clarity, we’ll be referring to the machine that upgrades your weapons as the Pack-a-Punch, as that’s what the community has come to know it as, despite it now being called the Weapon Upgrade Machine.

Before you can use the Pack-a-Punch, you must first find it and unlock it, and before you can do that, you need to turn on the power. Once the power is on, return to the well you exploded and head into the sewer. Follow the winding tunnels until you reach a large, open area – it’s here you’ll find the Pack-a-Punch.

The next step to unlocking the Pack-a-Punch is to gain access to the cage. If you interact with the cage you will be swarmed with a horde of Nazi zombies, so don’t touch it until it’s ready. In the room with the Pack-a-Punch, look for the gray box on the wall with a red light, on it is a button you need to press.

Pressing this button activates the Disposal Tubes around the map. These tubes act as a fast-travel system, with the three Disposal Tubes delivering you to the Pack-a-Punch machine. With the Disposal Tubes activated, locate them all around the map and ride them – this costs 250 Jolts per use, so bring your credits!

You can find the Disposal Tubes:

  • Inside the Command Room
  • Past the Pub in the Tower
  • Inside the Laboratory

With all three Disposal Tubes used, you can now interact with the cage in order to unlock the Pack-a-Punch machine. However, using the machine is not cheap, so make sure you have at least 5,000 Jolts! Now that you have unlocked the Pack-a-Punch, you can begin upgrading your weapons and improving your odds of survival!
