O-I Experimental
Once a player reaches mid-tier battles, they'll begin to encounter a large, beefy tank called the O-I Experimental. This Tier 5 Japanese Heavy tank is great for newer World of Tanks players who would benefit from having more hit points (HP) to work with during battles.
The O-I Experimental is a hefty tank that has a very powerful gun and decent survivability. For such a massive tank, the O-I has surprisingly quick mobility. Despite its hefty size, the O-I Exp. has relatively low armor values, which it makes up for by having 700 HP. A greater hit point pool means it can take a beating, especially when top tier.
Depending on which gun it has equipped, the O-I Experimental is also capable of dishing out an impressive 300 alpha damage. Combine this with its decent HP and mobility, and this Tier 5 Heavy is certainly a formidable foe.
The O-I Experimental is a great tank for World of Tanks noobs to use. The Japanese Heavy tank line also offers heavies as early as Tier 3, which can help players who want to begin practicing earlier with Heavy tanks. The O-I Experimental can hold its own even against Tier 7, making this a great option for players who want to ease their way into the higher tiers.
