Even though Ellie and Sarah look nothing like one another, that didn’t clue in when I began playing. When the
I honestly didn’t see this one coming, so when Sarah was shot by the soldier and dying in Joel’s arms, I was truly rattled. It is a moment that I’ll never forget. Perhaps other gamers were more observant than I was and saw this coming, but this moment still goes down as one of the most shocking moments in gaming history for me.
Judging by some of the reactions in the video, I’m not alone, though I’m always wary that people on YouTube and Twitch are forcing their emotional responses, rather than conveying moments of genuine shock.
