The 2014 release sets you as a loving Octopus father (wearing human clothes of course — no indecency here) who struggles to go about life above the waves. Players must “master mundane tasks with his unwieldy boneless tentacles while simultaneously keeping his cephalopodan nature a secret from his human family,” according to the game’s description.
Octodad proved quite the critical success in its previous launches as an adorably funny indie title. Perfect for the Switch, then. Expect to flop and flounder around your home as you try to live a normal life.
Octodad is currently listed at $14.99 on the Switch eShop.
