Metal Gear Solid 5 receives PS4 Pro update

Improving resolution and frame rate.

Konami have released an update to Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain, enhancing its performance for the PlayStation 4 Pro.

There aren’t confirmed details, but a post on the Metal Gear Solid Facebook page states that the game will now run “at a higher resolution and a more stable frame rate.”

Speaking with Polygon, Konami confirmed that the update includes support for resolutions “up [to] 2560x1440 on 4K screens,” along with some bug fixes. The updates comes in time with the game being available to PlayStation Plus subscribers for free, so there’s no excuse not to give it a try.
