Super Mario Party brings multi-Switch local play

Time to lose your friends all over again.

Super Mario Party has been revealed for the Nintendo Switch.

In it you'll be able to play local multiplayer between multiple Switch consoles, with certain minigames built around this functionality.

One game shown off involves positioning the Switch consoles on a surface to build a level across the two of them before battling it out. The two Switches can be places however you like, meaning you'll be ableto make unique setups each time you play.

We get a glimpse of a number of other games in action including racing tiny (and very inefficient) bikes or fying food using the Joy-Con gyro controls.

Super Mario Party launches October 5 on Nintendo Switch.
