Call of Duty: WW2 War Mode details leak ahead of launch

Early copies appear to have arrived.

Early details for CoD: WW2’s War mode have been leaked as early copies hit the market.

War mode will launch with just three maps, Operation Breakout, Operation Griffin and Operation Neptune. We’ve already seen Breakout which became available during the game’s Betas, but no details have yet to emerge of the other two maps. The names and details come thanks to Reddit user GarandLover who appears to have an early copy of the game.

This low number of levels may be disappointing for those hoping to avoid CoD’s more traditional modes, but Sledgehammer have confirmed that more will be coming in the game’s future DLC (almost certainly at a cost). The good news is that you’ll be able to play the mode against bots, and the level supports up to 12 players who can be swapped between teams at will when playing in a custom mode.

Call of Duty: WW2 launches November 3.
