Halo Infinite announced for Xbox One in E3 trailer

Finish the fight. Again.

Microsoft opened their E3 presentation this year with a cinematic introduction to Halo Infinite, a new game starring everyone's favorite faceless space ranger Master Chief

"Play as the Master Chief on his greatest adventure yet to save humanity," said Phil Spencer, head of the Xbox division at Microsoft. Where that adventure falls in among the other five numbered titles is up to your imagination.

The game is powered by the Slipspace Engine, an as yet unmentioned game development tool tied to the lore of the Halo universe, so clearly some proprietary tech for the big green giant.

Here's the trailer for the game, and we'll have more info as soon as it's physically available.
