Most of the weapons in Vampyr can be upgraded. To upgrade in weapons in Vampyr, you’ll need to find a workbench. One of the easiest workbenches to find is the one located in your office in Pembroke Hospital. You can also craft serums and medicine on this (and every other) workbench in Vampyr, so you’re likely already familiar on how to interact with it.

To upgrade your weapons, interact with a workbench, then select the weapon you want to upgrade. You’ll spot an “Upgrade” icon, which you need to click in order to see what enhancements are available for that particular weapon. Once you’re reviewing the various upgrades available for the selected weapon, you’ll also be able to see the resources required to upgrade it.

Materials to upgrade weapons can either be scavenged, salvaged from junk items, or purchased from merchants. If you have the necessary materials to upgrade a weapon, select the weapon level and hold the “Upgrade” button. This will initiate the process of upgrading your weapon, and will use up the listed resources.

After your weapon has been upgraded, you’ll then be able to choose what type of enhancement or effect you’d like to apply to the weapon. For example, you could upgrade the weapon to deal increased damage.

And that’s all there is to it. Now that you know how to upgrade weapons in Vampyr, be sure to check out our other guides on how to water the plant in Vampyr (located next to the workbench in your office), and where to find all of the game’s collectible Lore Documents!
