How much should you sell items for in Moonlighter?

Find what price to sell every Golem dungeon item for in Moonlighter.

Moonlighter’s shopkeeping day job is a careful balancing act of both greed and discovery. Every item you find in the dungeons won’t have a value listed, meaning it’s up to you to set a price and see what people are willing to pay. Aim too low and you’ll have lost out on earnings, too high and the item won’t sell at all. The difficulty comes when you’re close to finding that sweet spot value. Push the cost of an item up just too much and your customers will be unhappy with their purchase, temporarily lowering the item's popularity.

While it can be fun to fine tune your prices over time, it’s also a slow process and costly when dealing with some of the rarest goods. Your journal provides a degree of help by listing all items in order of value, but you’ll still need to invest a good amount of time to find the optimal price for each. If you’d rather focus on the combat side of things, we’ve created a handy spreadsheet for the ideal prices of every item you’ll discover in the starting Golem dungeon. Here’s how much you should sell the Golem dungeon items for in Moonlighter:

How much to sell Golem dungeon items for

In the spreadsheet below we’ve got the ideal prices for every item in the Golem dungeon. It’s worth noting that the values listed in your notebook will only change in intervals of 5 once you’re over a few 10s of gold, so don’t worry too much about updating it to single digits. It’s possible to fine tune each sale for a small increase in revenue, but the time you’ll waste simply isn’t worth it compared to selling goods faster and getting back out there to collect more. Don’t forget that some customers may be interested in specific types of goods and therefore willing to pay more for them! Keep an eye on who’s in your shop and adjust prices if needed.
