Ghost of Tsushima sets the Mongol Empire upon Japan.

Feudal Japan's open world looks like a beautiful place to explore.

Set during Japan’s feudal era, Ghost of Tsushima is an open-world, PlayStation exclusive by Sucker Punch studios.

Sony showed off the new title during their Paris Games Week conference, developed by the studio behind the Infamous series. The title looks to take place during the Mongol invasion of Japan in the 1200s, starting with the island of Tsushima. Sucker Punch have described the title as an ‘action-stealth title’, and want grant players the freedom to roam and explore the ancient landscape as you please. Though we were only shown a glimpse of gameplay, it looks like you’ll be sneaking around in the dark quite a bit, before hacking and slashing any foes who spot you too soon.
