Comedian and Daily Show host Trevor Noah has blown the lid off EA's reveal of the next Battlefield game on Twitter.
#ad The rumors are true (rumors that I started, but still...) I will be hosting the @Battlefield Live Reveal on Wed, May 23rd. Catch it streaming live on the #Battlefield YouTube. V EXCITING! pic.twitter.com/7B3fpTpQ6x

His tweet links to a dormant livestream on YouTube, the placeholder thumbnail for which seems to confirm that the game will revert to the previous naming system and be called Battlefield V, after Battlefield 1 took us back to WWI.
All the promotion so far has made a point to comment on how the next entry will mark a big change for the series, leading to persistent and inevitable chatter that the game will feature a Battle Royale mode. At least now we have a date to look forward to when our questions will be answered.
Until then, all eyes will be on Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 which gets its reveal today. That's also supposed be going Battle Royale. As is every other game on the planet.
