This week’s Battle Pass challenges are now live and there are two more that’ll see you scouring the map for specific locations. Following on from gnomes and telescopes, this week we’re hunting down Taco Shops and a treasure map in Moisty Mire. Don’t worry, follow our guides below and you’ll be raking in the Battle Stars in no time. Here’s how to find every Taco Shop and how to complete the Moisty Mire treasure map challenge in Fortnite.
Fortnite Taco Shop locations
There are five total Taco Shops spread across the map, and you’ll need to visit three of them in a single match to earn the reward (five Battle Stars). To this end, you’ll probably want to steer clear of other players as much as possible until you’ve found them all. With our guide you shouldn’t have any trouble finding every Taco Shop in Fortnite.
The three closest Taco shops are located on the western side of the map. The first is in the small town south of Shifty Shafts, the second in the group of buildings west of Tilted Towers, and the third within the north-west section of Tilted Towers itself. While these are these are the easiest three to reach before the storm closes in, you’ll also need to head into the towering city of Titled, one of the most dangerous locations on the map. Instead, you could always visit the two outside before looping round the Loot Lake to Tomato Town, or the south to Retail Row. Both of these hotspots should have calmed down by the time you arrive.
How to complete the Moisty Mire treasure map challenge
One of the Hard challenges in this week’s set is to follow the treasure map in Moisty Mire. This will net you 10 Battle Stars and is really quite easy to complete, so it’s well worth your time to check it out.
You can find the treasure map in the largest building in the centre of Moisty Mire, but you don’t actually need to visit this to complete the challenge. The map depicts a house with two chimneys which is located just to the south-west of Retail Row (quadrant G-6). Reach this and you’ll find the Battle Star sitting on top of the house’s chimneys. We’ve marked the location on the map below so you shouldn’t have any trouble finding it. Happy hunting!
Just remember that when you complete the challenges, you must finish the match you’re in to earn the reward. Quitting out early means your efforts won’t count for anything.
