It seems like only last week that Cliff "Cliffy B" Bleszinski's Boss Key studio was sadly bringing down the curtain on its failed arena shooter LawBreakers. That's because it was only last week, but they've already launched their promised new project on Steam.
It is, somewhat inevitably, a free-to-play battle royale shooter firmly in the Fortnite and PUBG style. The twist is that it's set in a dystopian future obsessed with a violent 1980s-themed game show called Radical Heights. That's also the name of the game, as you take part in the show and fight against other players for supremacy.
You can ride around on BMX bikes, romp in skate parks and whatever cash you grab during a match can either be spent immediately on weapons and cosmetic items, or banked and withdrawn from an ATM in a future game.
The game is apparently in "X-treme" early access, which seems to mean that work has literally just begun on the project. According to its Steam listing, the core gameplay is "complete" but players should expect to encounter unfinished and placeholder assets including "models, audio, animation, and even entire buildings".
