Techland Celebrates Dying Light 3-Year Anniversary

Dying Light players can expect new content, discounts, and more in celebration of the game’s 3-year anniversary.

This February, Dying Light celebrates its 3-year anniversary. In celebration, Techland released a video which thanks fans for their continued support and spotlights some of the in-game goodies up for grabs throughout the entire month of February.

First, Techland detailed the newest content drop which is scheduled to launch later this month. Then, they showcased a new Undying Love community bounty event alongside in-game discounts and weekly giveaways.

“Dying Light’s longevity is a result of the studio’s hard work, combined with the efforts of our community, who have shown unparalleled love for the game and spent countless hours in Harran,” stated Tymon Smektala, producer of Dying Light and Dying Light: The Following.

“We are nothing but thankful for this exceptional commitment and players’ eagerness to provide us with constructive feedback that helped us make a better game.”

Techland also dropped hints that they have “lots of Dying Light awesomeness to reveal in 2018.” While Techland didn’t offer specifics on what they plan to reveal, it stands to reason that something exciting is in the works.

Whether that includes a sequel, DLC, or launch on new platforms like the Nintendo Switch, remains to be seen. Be sure to check back here at Indie Obscura, as we’ll be updating with more information on this year’s Dying Light content as it’s revealed.

For those who’ve yet to check out Dying Light, it’s an extremely popular zombie title that deftly blends exploration, adventure, and parkour. We highly recommend it, especially for fans of the zombie horror genre.
