54 Indie Games Featured in New Playing Card Deck

There’s a new way to showcase your love of indie games.

A new 54-card deck launched a few days ago on Kickstarter dubbed “Video Game Playing Cards.” The deck is comprised of licensed video game art from 54 different indie games. In order to get your hands on this nifty playing card deck, you’ll need to back the project on Kickstarter.

A single deck is priced at $19, which includes shipping. The Video Game Playing Cards are projected to ship later this March, giving you plenty of time to think things over if you’re somehow still on the fence.

The mind responsible for this adorable playing card deck is the CEO of JanduSoft, which is also the development studio behind Caveman Warriors (one of the 54 cards featured in the deck).

Reportedly, they came up with the idea for Video Game Playing Cards as a unique way to spotlight the games they’ve encountered at various gaming events. After they were able to secure the licensing to the artwork for 54 different indie games, the Video Game Playing Cards became a legitimate reality.

In regards to some of the Indie games featured in the Video Game Playing Cards, they include games like Unepic, Aragami, and Rise & Shine, among others. To get a better idea as to what games you can expect in the Video Game Playing Card deck, click here.

To support the cause, you can click here to head over the the deck’s Kickstarter campaign, which runs until February 23rd. The campaign has already surpassed its $2,500 goal, but that doesn’t mean you can’t add in your support and pick up your very own Video Game Playing Card deck in the process!
