Closed Beta Signups for 'Switchblade' Now Open

Lucid Dreams has opened up closed beta registration for their mechanized vehicle MOBA, Switchblade.

Closed beta signups are now open for all players interested in testing out Switchblade on the PlayStation 4. You can click here to register for the game’s closed beta, though it’s important to note that signing up won’t guarantee you a spot.

If you are invited to the closed beta, you’ll receive an email from Sony Interactive Entertainment Europe, so be sure to keep an eye on your inbox! Meanwhile, for those unfamiliar with Switchblade, it’s a vehicular MOBA that centers around heated 5v5 competition.

In the game, you’re able to take control of a variety of different vehicles and then use those vehicles to destroy the enemy team’s tower. Regarding the core gameplay in Switchblade, Craig Howard (Creative Director at Lucid Games) stated:

“The idea of a vehicle sport where strategy, as well as reactions, was key to winning and our focus as we feel compelling sports need both of these.”

Switchblade certainly sounds like an exciting take on the MOBA genre, and one that may pique the interest of hardcore Rocket League fans. For more information on Switchblade, be sure to check out the closed beta trailer down below!
