Night in the Woods Gets Nintendo Switch Release Date

You’ll be able to play Night in the Woods on Nintendo Switch a lot sooner than you might think.

Night in the Woods by developer Infinite Fall has an official Nintendo Switch release date, and it’s a lot closer than many realize. In fact, fans of Night in the Woods can look forward to the game’s launch on Nintendo Switch later this week on January 18th.

The Switch port will be available for $19.99 (the same price as other versions of Night in the Woods) meaning if you don’t already own a copy, you should definitely look into grabbing the game for the Switch.

Unfamiliar with the game? Night in the Woods is a narrative adventure that follows protagonist Mae, a college dropout who returns to her small hometown of Possum Springs in an attempt to pick up where she left off.

Upon returning, she discovers that things aren’t quite the same as when she left. She’ll need to rekindle her relationships with her friends, all while unraveling the town’s darkest secrets.

The art style is vaguely reminiscent of a children’s book, while the subject matter is complex and mature. Overall, Night in the Woods is one of our favorite games of 2017, and one we cannot recommend highly enough.
