Fortnite Battle Royale: Guide to All New Cities and Locations

A look at all new cities and locations in Fortnite Battle Royale.

This week’s map update will add in a total of five new cities and locations to Fortnite Battle Royale. To help you plan your next set of matches, it’s important to know a little bit more about each city and location. Below, you’ll find a quick summary of all new cities and locations in Fortnite Battle Royale.

Junk Junction

In Fortnite Battle Royale, Junk Junction can be found on the northwestern corner of the map. The addition of Junk Junction helps flesh out the empty area in that particular map corner. It also gives players easier access to nearby areas like Pleasant Park.

Haunted Hills

In Fortnite Battle Royale, Haunted Hills can be found south of Junk Junction. The addition of Haunted Hills also gives players easier access to Pleasant Park.

Snobby Shores

In Fortnite Battle Royale, Snobby Shores can be found along the western edge of the map. The location is a small city likely filled with solid loot options. It’s a bit out of the way, which can make it a great alternative for loot spots like Pleasant Park. Plus, it gives you easier access to locations like Tilted Towers and Greasy Grove.

Each map location offers its own unique set of pros and cons in Fortnite Battle Royale.

Tilted Towers

In Fortnite Battle Royale, Tilted Towers can be found south of Loot Lake and is notable thanks to its ample amount of buildings and cover (ideal for firefights). Additionally, the sheer number of buildings promise a solid amount of loot. If you’re planning to land in the Tilted Towers area, be wary of its central location.

Shifty Shafts

In Fortnite Battle Royale, Shifty Shafts can be found near Greasy Grove. This location is interesting thanks to its offering of tunnels to explore. Within these tunnels, you’re likely to find some decent loot. Should you encounter another player, the tunnel aspect will certainly provide a fun location for firefights as well.

Overall, where you choose to land in Fortnite Battle Royale is largely up to you. Passive players will be better off avoiding areas near Pleasant Park, while looters should keep areas like Snobby Shores and Tilted Towers on their radar.

As of right now, what’s your favorite landing spot in Fortnite Battle Royale? Be sure to let us know down in the comments below!

By reading through this guide, you should now be up-to-speed on all new cities and locations added via the latest map update in Fortnite Battle Royale.
