EA Original 'Fe' Gets a Release Date for February

Fe will be the first indie game released in the EA Originals series.

During Nintendo Direct earlier today, Swedish game developer Zoink Games (Stick it to the Man, Flipping Death), announced an official release date for their upcoming platforming adventure, Fe. This gorgeous platformer looks like a 3D version of Ori and the Blind Forest, and is the first game in the EA Originals indie games lineup.

Fe is a colorful third-person platformer where players explore a glowing Nordic forest landscape. In Fe, players control a small fox-like critter who has the power to sing and communicate with other living entities in the forest, which allows you to better navigate the world and explore its secrets. You will also come up against the Silent Ones, the mystical entities that threaten the balance of the world.

Although Fe is coming to every major gaming console, the Nintendo Switch version of Fe will utilize the hybrid console’s special hardware to include unique features to the Switch version. Players will be able to use the Joy-Con controllers to control the singing mechanic as well as feel the distinct vibrations and sounds of each song.

Fe will arrive for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC (via Origin) on February 16. For more details, head over to the official Fe website.
