Nintendo Switch update supports wireless headsets

So long as they're USB-based.

The lastest 4.0.0 Nintendo Switch update secretly added support for USB-C, wireless headsets.

Players on Reddit noticed that their headphones now worked, provided you’re able to plug into the docking station via USB. If you’ve access to a USB-C connector or adaptor, the feature will also work with the undocked console. The Switch now acknowledges the audio is via USB, too, a move which might hint towards a change in policy for Nintendo’s confusingly terrible voice chat setup. Currently, all communications require a separate smartphone app to use, meaning few players bother with the hassle.
