Doom resurrects on Switch with November release date

The time is nigh.

Doom will officially launch on Nintendo’s Switch on November 10, according to developers id Software.

Doom is the first of id’s shooters coming to Switch with the soon to release Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus making its way onto Nintendo’s handheld in early 2018.

The Switch version of 2016’s best shooter seems pretty feature complete and recent footage of it playing in handheld mode left us pretty impressed with how well it handles the graphics-intensive game.

Both single- and multiplayer modes will be available with 18 maps but no SnapMap editor, sadly.
