Minecraft players are known for creating impressive recreations of everything from the Harry Potter castle to a full Pokémon map. However, a new project has captured the attention of Minecraft players and anime fans alike. Created by Mocchi Hajikura, the remarkable reconstruction of the Studio Ghibli film, Laputa: Castle in the Sky, is a sight to behold.
The project reportedly took over 4 years to complete, with construction beginning back in 2013. Aside from the images revealed in Mocchi Hajikura’s YouTube video, there’s little information to go on regarding why this Minecraft user decided to recreate Laputa. Despite this, the final product is something that both Minecraft and Studio Ghibli fans will undoubtedly fawn over.
