Laidlaw is one of BioWare’s experienced old hands, having worked on Jade Empire, Mass Effect and more with the studio. Lead designer of the Dragon Age series’ first two titles, he took the role of creative director for the most recent title, Inquisition.
“It's been an honour to be a part of the Dragon Age team, and I have every confidence that the world we've created together is in good hands and I'm excited for the road ahead,” Laidlaw says, explaining that he plans to spend more time catching up with other games while remaining a presence on Twitter and Twitch.
As huge fans of BioWare’s work and the Dragon Age series, we wish Laidlaw all the best in his future work and thank him for all he’s given the gaming community in his tenure at the famous studio.
