PlayStation VR Bundles Will Get a Price Drop in September

All bundles will now include a PlayStation Camera.

In just a few days, Sony will be reducing the prices of several different PlayStation VR bundles, making it a little more affordable to enter the world of virtual reality using your PlayStation 4 console. According to this post on the PlayStation Blog, the price reductions will officially go into effect later this week on September 1.

The discounts that are being put into effect are as follows:

  • The standard $399 PlayStation VR bundle will now include a PlayStation Camera at no additional cost.
  • The $499 bundle which includes the PlayStation VR, PlayStation Camera, two Move controllers, and a copy of PlayStation VR Worlds will have its price reduced to $449.

While the above discounts aren’t terribly spectacular, they do make investing in the PlayStation 4’s VR capabilities a little more enticing, especially since buyers will no longer have to purchase the PlayStation Camera separately if they don’t already have it.
