Missing Pieces - Outlast: Whistleblower
Ah yes, we’ve come to the most shocking indie game horror moment on this list. While you may have found yourself squirming during the Trager torture scene (RIP fingers), Outlast’s Whistleblower DLC manages to take that concept up a terrible, gore-filled notch. Instead of losing fingers, you stand to lose something a bit more important.
There are a few heart-pounding moments where you stare in horror as the saw blade inches closer and closer to your manhood. Thankfully, you’re saved right in the nick of time. After playing the demo of Outlast 2, we noticed a bit of a theme going on here. Guard your crotch, gents, because you never know what’s going to happen in the Outlast franchise!
