Hellblade donates Oct 10 proceeds to mental health charity

Developer Ninja Theory makes gesture to mark World Mental Health Day.

British developer Ninja Theory marked World Mental Health Day this week by donating all proceeds from Hellblade sales on October 10 to mental health charity Rethink.

Action-adventure Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice has been hailed for its nuanced depiction of mental health issues, and the developer recently shared some of the stories it has heard from players who the game has touched since its release.

The trailer above features screenshots taken by players using the game's photo mode, and instead of using choice press quotes, it features messages from players.

Hellblade is out now on PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
