6) Thumper

Thumper established itself as a solid entry in the one-of-a-kind “rhythm violence” genre when it released for PC, Xbox One, PS4, and PSVR. With the game’s release on the Nintendo Switch, Thumper carries over its pedigree and offers Switch owners a distinctive experience vastly different from anything else you’ll find on the eShop. Make no mistake, Thumper is an incredibly challenging game.

As such, it may not be for everyone. However, there’s no denying the game is great at pulling you in with its dark gameplay and thumping (pun intended) soundtrack. While you may get frustrated at some of Thumper’s harder levels, it’s well worth its purchase price on the Nintendo Switch. Especially seeing as how you can take it with you on the go and keep grinding away until you beat whichever level's been holding you hostage.
