Make sure you stay on top of these basics to come out on top.
The Nintendo Switch has been out for almost 5 months now, and is currently doing better than predicted. With over 70 games available and counting, the Nintendo Switch has a decent amount of variety to keep you busy (when you’re not playing The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild). If you recently picked yourself up a Nintendo Switch, or are looking to purchase a new game for the console, we’ve got your back.
Below, we’ve put together a comprehensive list of the 8 best Nintendo Switch games… so far.
8) Shovel Knight: Treasure Trove
While you won’t get anything inherently “new” with Shovel Knight on the Switch, you’ll nevertheless get a solid game that you can pick up and play whenever your heart desires. Shovel Knight is platforming at its very best, and is spearheaded by its incredible DLC such as Specter of Torment.
While you may be tempted to stick with Shovel Knight: Specter of Torment on the Switch, we highly recommend Treasure Trove as it gives you more bang for your buck. Overall, Shovel Knight is a game that never seems to get old, and continues to stand out not only as one of the best indie platformers on the Switch, but among other genre staples.
