To help, we’ve put together a guide on how to increase your farm rating in Yonder: The Cloud Catcher Chronicles.

Yonder - How to Increase Your Farm Rating

Below, you'll find the steps needed to increase your farm rating in Yonder: The Cloud Catcher Chronicles.

The key to knowing how to increase your farm rating in Yonder: The Cloud Catcher Chronicles is understanding how your rating is scored. Your farm rating is based on three main factors: Cleanliness, Value Produced, and Animal Care. By focusing on these three core aspects, you’ll be able to gradually increase your farm rating.

Cleanliness

You can increase your farm's Cleanliness by cleaning animal droppings in Yonder: The Cloud Catcher Chronicles.

First, let’s talk about farm Cleanliness. This aspect of your farm is the easiest to maintain as you’re able to hire a Farmhand to help you out while you’re off exploring. There are multiple Farmhands for hire in Yonder: The Cloud Catcher Chronicles, meaning you won’t have to search high and low to find one.

To hire a Farmhand, you’ll need to charm them by offering up food or items. As you do so, their percentage of charm will increase until it hits 100%. At that point, you can hire them and send them off to the farm of your choice. If you’re unable to hire a Farmhand, you can still maintain farm Cleanliness on your own.

Essentially, animals on your farm will defecate over time, requiring you to clean up the mess. Each time you pay your farm a visit, scan for animal droppings and and clean up any you find. In doing so, you’ll be able to maintain maximum Cleanliness.

Value Produced

You can increase your Value Produced by creating Garden Plots and planting Seeds in Yonder: The Cloud Catcher Chronicles.

At first, you may be confused as to how Value Produced factors into your farm rating. If you only have animals at your farm, you may notice that your Value Produced rating is rather low. This is because animals do not yield much in value (although they are necessary in stocking up on food and crafting items).

To increase your Value Produced, you’ll need to create Garden Plots, then plant Seeds in these plots. In doing so, you’ll be able to bump up your Value Produced to its max level.

Animal Care

You can increase your Animal Care by stocking up on Fodder and Water Troughs in Yonder: The Cloud Catcher Chronicles.

Lastly, you can increase your farm rating in Yonder: The Cloud Catcher Chronicles by staying on top of Animal Care. On your farm, you have a variety of animals, each housed in various pens and facilities. Whenever you visit your farm, you’ll want to interact with your animals using Yonder’s “Care” option.

Each time you do this, your Animal Care rating will bump up by 1-2% (and can only be done a set number of times). As such, you’ll want to focus primarily on food and water.

When it comes to maximizing your Animal Care rating, you’ll need to have 1 Water Trough and 1 Fodder Trough installed for every 2 animals on your farm. By paying attention to the ratio between animals and food/water, you’ll be able to keep your Animal Care rating at max.
