Microsoft reveals how they built the Xbox One X

Apparently it was harder than sticking an X on the end.

The Xbox One X is creeping closer and closer to its November 7 release date, so we’re getting a peek under the curtain at the magic that makes it real.

Microsoft’s latest Xbox Wire entry talks about all the aspects it takes to build a console like the Xbox One X, capable of pumping out 4K visuals on your shiny HDR telly.

The technical breakdown covers everything from hard drives to color choices, explaining why the team went with “Infinite Black”. It’s not just because that’s a cool color name.
