PS4 Version of LawBreakers Announced

BossKey Productions will also include enhancements for LawBreakers on the PS4 Pro.

Developer BossKey Productions and publisher Nexon recently announced that Cliff Bleszinski’s upcoming first-person shooter, LawBreakers, will be receiving a PS4 release.

According to a press release from the team, the game will launch simultaneously on PS4 and Steam, and will also include enhancements for the PS4 Pro. Unfortunately, no set release date has been announced, although the developers informed fans that the game will only cost $29.99 once it’s launched.

In addition, there won’t be a Season Pass for players to buy, and all future DLC expansions will be free. To make things even better, pay-to-win microtransactions are also being left on the table, as the Stash boxes in LawBreakers will exclusively offer cosmetic items rather than weapons and gear. In the press release, Cliff Bleszinski went on to say:

“With LawBreakers, we wanted to honor the skill-based FPS games of yesteryear, all while embracing the new and pushing the genre in our own unique way, We found that messing with gravity, and having it mess with the player, adds a dynamic vertical element that will challenge players of all skill levels to go above their limits."

"Add in a variety of character role play-styles that go beyond the basic ‘tank, sniper and medic,’ a price point that we feel is fair to the player and the fact that it’s just damn fun to playwe’re confident LawBreakers will be one of the best valued and most challenging FPS games on PC or console.”

For fans looking to get their hands on LawBreakers early, the PS4 version of the game will be available at E3 2017. For more on LawBreakers, be sure to check out the game’s official website.
