5) Friday the 13th
If you’re a fan of 80’s slasher films and want to drop yourself straight into the shoes of a counselor at Camp Crystal Lake, look no further than Gun Media’s Friday the 13th. We’ve tested the game out ourselves during the beta and have to say, the game looks phenomenal.
There’s a lot of space to move around, and countless different methods you can employ to stay alive. If gore is your thing, there’s also no shortage of gruesome kills you can inflict as Jason (see the trailer above for examples).
This is one multiplayer horror experience you definitely won't want to miss on the PS4. The multiplayer portion will release this spring, or if you prefer to play alone, an additional singleplayer campaign is due out later this summer.
4) Absolver
If you’re a fan of the fighting genre, you may want to look into Absolver by developer
You can move freely in Absolver’s beautifully rendered world, and enjoy several MMORPG elements like completable quests. We feel Absolver will be one of the hottest indie fighting games of 2017, so if you own a PS4, be sure to keep an eye on Absolver until an official release date is announced.
