Mixed reality Halo Recruit game shows off Microsoft's Hololens headset

Microsoft is working on a new Halo game! Hold up, it’s a short experience to showcase their mixed reality headset.

Halo Recruit is a five-minute interactive bit made by 343 Industries and is designed to be a ‘fun little arcade experience’ according to studio chief Kiki Wolfkill.

There’s footage of it, courtesy of RoadToVR, who went on a quick hands-on with the game intended to work on any mixed reality head-mounted display. That’s good news for Samsung, who have just announced the HMD Odyssey for November.

Halo Recruit is free from the Windows Store from October 17, so just go ahead and find yourself a Hololens or equivalent. If you can’t then here’s the footage:
