Stardew Valley arrives on Switch October 5

A Fall harvest.

One-man wonder farming sim Stardew Valley will be released on Nintendo Switch on October 5.

The wildly popular Harvest Moon-alike has been ported to the handheld console by Sickhead Games, and will be priced at $14.99 on Thursday.

Since it still contains all the farming, fighting, fishing and funky music of the original, coded solo by Eric Barone, it’s sure to be a great addition to the Switch library.

Plans for the local multiplayer mode last had Switch receiving a patch post-release to add the functionality for multiple players on the same farm. There has been no update since so expect that to arrive shortly after release if you want to farm with a friend.
